About
The lodge has a combination of dorms, en-suite private
rooms, safari tents and campsites. Dorms are available for R150 ppn, en-suite
dorms R180.00 ppn, en-suite double/twin,family suite available at R590.00 per
room per night. Enjoy more privacy and the beautiful views of Sheba’s breasts
and the garden.
There is a newly built swimming pool and we have a DSTV
lounge with board games and a book exchange. There is also a large deck where
you’ll find people enjoying themselves, drinking, playing games or just
relaxing and meeting others. There is a braii (barbeque) and campfire area. We
offer home cooked meals and on Wednesdays we offer Swazi traditional food with
great vegetarian options. We often have a local band coming to perform. Whether
relaxing with a book on a rocking chair or exploring the expansive
grounds-Lidwala is a beautiful base in Swaziland’s “Valley of Heaven”.
Visit the craft market down the road, hike up Sheba’s Breast
Mountain and enjoy panoramic views of the area or explore the real Swaziland by
quad bike. If adventure is your calling we can help you arrange white water
rafting, adventure caving, horse riding and more. You can also get involved in
some of the conservation and community projects run by All Out Africa from this
base and are likely to bump into some of the international volunteers staying
here.
